About
Yannis Dessureault was born in 1978, in a small town of the province of Quebec, Canada.
He discovered the power of photography at a very young age while flipping through the pages of National Geographic magazines.
After witnessing “exotic scenes of daily life” during multiple roadtrips in North America, he decided to become a photographer so he could share his vision.
He studied photography for two years and is now working as a freelance documentary photographer.
